A Wonderful Breakfast in the Rain in Beykoz/Beykoz’da Yağmur Eşliğinde Harika Bir Kahvaltı 🌲🌧️🍳

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is going smoothly. Unfortunately, with the cold weather setting in, illnesses have increased. My wife and I have also been affected by the adverse weather conditions and have been sick on and off. It's no exaggeration to say that we've been going from hospital to hospital for two months. I'm feeling much better these days. I hope you are all well and everything is going well for you too.

Herkese merhaba, umarım iyisinizdir ve her şey yolundadır. Soğuk havaların hakim olmasıyla birlikte maalesef hastalıklarda arttı. Eşimle birlikte ben de olumsuz hava şartlarından etkilenerek ara ara hasta olduk. İki aydır hastane hastane geziyoruz desem yeridir. Bu aralar çok daha iyi hissediyorum. Umarım sizler de iyisinizdir ve her şey iyi gidiyordur.

A few months ago, my spouse and I went to Beykoz for breakfast with friends. I'll talk about that today.
As long as you have time, you can enjoy various activities in Istanbul. Of course, it's a good idea to plan ahead to avoid traffic jams and such.
We made our plans and reservations a couple of weeks in advance. Since it was the weekend, we avoided the morning traffic. The only problem was that we got caught in the rain on the way there. We arrived at the restaurant in Beykoz around 10:00 a.m.

Geçtiğimiz aylarda eşim ve arkadaşlara birlikte Beykoz’da kahvaltıya gitmiştik. Bugün bunun üzerine konuşacağım.
Vaktiniz olduğu müddetçe İstanbul’da çeşitli aktivite yapıp eğlenebilirsiniz. Tabi planlamasını önceden yapmakta fayda var trafik yoğunluğuna vs kalmamak için.
Biz bir iki hafta öncesinden planlamasını yapıp rezervasyon yaptırmıştık. Hafta sonu olduğu için sabah trafiğine de kalmadık. Tek sorun giderken yağmura yakalandık. Saat 10.00 gibi Beykoz’da bulunan restoranta ulaştık.

Since there was no indoor space available, we sat in a suitable gazebo and turned on the electric heater to avoid the cold weather. I think one of the best things about breakfast was being able to enjoy it outdoors without being affected by the rain and cold. Of course, the sound of the rain also added to the breakfast experience.
The orders arrived about half an hour after we placed them.

Mekanda kapalı alan bulunamadığı için müsait bir çardağa oturduk soğuk havadan etkilenmemek için elektrikli sobayı çalıştırdık. Sanırım kahvaltının en güzel yanlarından birisi de açık havada yağmurdan ve soğuktan etkilenmemek oldu. Tabi yağmur sesleri de kahvaltıya renk kattı.
Siparişleri verdikten yaklaşık yarım saat sonra geldi.

Overall, the breakfast was good. I was a little nervous because we found it online, but I can say I was wrong. The staff took very good care of us. After breakfast, we chatted over tea and spent about 1.5 hours there.

Genel olarak kahvaltı güzeldi. İnternetten araştırıp geldiğimiz için biraz tedirgindim ancak yanıldığımı söyleyebilirim. Görevli personellerde çok iyi ilgilendi. Kahvaltı bittikten sonra çay eşliğinde sohbet ettik ve yaklaşık olarak 1.5 saat vakit geçirdik.

When we arrived, it wasn't very crowded, but later on, the gazebos you see in the photos were full. The people who came with the tour cheered up the atmosphere even more by playing local games, regardless of the rain. As for the price, if I remember correctly, I paid 2,000 Turkish lira. That's about 50 dollars.
Considering there were four of us, I'd say it was quite reasonable.

Geldiğimiz vakitlerde çok kalabalık değildi ilerleyen saatlerde fotoğraflarda gördüğünüz çardaklar dolmuştu. Turla birlikte gelen insanlar yağmura aldırış etmeden oynadıkları yöresel oyunlarla ortamı daha da neşelendirdi. Fiyat konusuna gelecek olursak yanlış hatırlamıyorsam 2.000 Türk lirası ödedim. Yaklaşık 50 Dolar.
4 kişi geldiğimizi düşünürsek oldukça uygundu diyebilirim.

I really want to go there with friends in the near future, especially before winter passes. It helps me forget the fatigue of city life, at least to some extent. Also, because it's so peaceful, I felt like I was back in my village. On the way back, the rain had intensified a bit. There was also some traffic congestion. We arrived home about an hour later. Overall, it was a wonderful day.

Önümüzdeki zamanlarda özellikle kış ayı geçmeden buraya arkadaşlarla birlikte gitmeyi çok istiyorum. Şehir hayatının yorgunluğunu kısmen de olsa unutturuyor. Ayrıca sakin olmasından dolayı kendimi köyümde gibi hissetmiştim. Dönüş yaparken yağmur biraz daha şiddetini artırmıştı. Biraz da trafik yoğunluğu vardı. Yaklaşık bir saat sonra evimize ulaştık. Genel olarak harika bir gündü.
