Greetings fellow travelers, I hope you have an excellent and blessed day. We are nearing Christmas and the birth of Jesus. This month, the plazas and avenues are beautifully decorated. December is one of the most beautiful months of the year, because, as I mentioned before, Christmas is celebrated with decorations in beautiful and striking colors that beautify the city. Today I share with you my visit to Plaza Miranda in Cumaná, located between Avenida Humboldt and Avenida Aristiguieta, very close to Parque Ayacucho. This plaza pays homage to the hero Francisco de Miranda, born in Caracas, Venezuela, who participated in the independence of several countries. He is known as the Generalissimo, and as a tribute to his great work and the ideals that promoted the freedom of Venezuela and other countries, there are several plazas in the country named after him.
Miranda Square in Cumaná is a roundabout with a wide variety of trees. For this season, it was beautifully decorated with a rectangular red gate at the entrance, in front of the Miranda sculpture. Moving inwards, we see fountains adorned with rebar and lights, several gift boxes, and small arches at the side and rear entrances. The tree trunks are decorated with lights and green and red ribbons. The small roundabouts or planters where the trees are located are made of gray concrete. Next to them are several concrete benches that also serve as a perimeter fence and a place for visitors to rest, talk, and socialize. The square is an important meeting point and landmark. To the left is the Manzanares River, a bust of Miranda, and the Manzanares riverside promenade with benches and walkways.
Saludos amigos viajeros, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, ya estamos cerca de conmemorar la Navidad y el nacimiento de Jesús, en este mes las plazas y avenidas son hermosamente decoradas, diciembre es uno de los meses más bonito del año, pues como lo mencioné anteriormente, se celebra la Navidad caracterizada por decoraciones con hermoso y llamativos colores que embellecen la ciudad, hoy les comparto mi visita a la plaza Miranda de Cumaná, ubicada entre la avenida Humboldt y la avenida Aristiguieta, muy cerca del parque Ayacucho, esta plaza rinde homenaje al prócer Francisco de Miranda, nacido en Caracas, Venezuela y quien participó en la independencia de varios países, se le conoce como el Generalísimo y como tributo a la gran labor que hizo y los ideales que promovieron la libertad de Venezuela y otros países, hay varias plazas en el país con su nombre.
La plaza Miranda de Cumaná, es una especie de redoma con una gran variedad de árboles, para esta temporada fue hermosamente decorada con una especie de puerta rectangular color rojo, en la entrada al frente de la escultura de Miranda, avanzando hacia el interior vemos las fuentes que fueron adornadas con unos de cabilla y las respectivas luces, varias cajas de regalo y pequeños arcos en las entradas laterales y trasera, los troncos de los árboles tienen luces y cintas de color verde y rojo, las pequeñas redomas o jardineras donde se ubican los árboles son de concreto y de color gris, al lado de ellas hay varios bancos de concreto también que sirven de cerca perimetral además un lugar para que los visitantes puedan descansar, conversar y compartir; además la plaza es un importante punto de encuentro y referencia, al lado izquierdo se encuentra el Río Manzanares, un busto de Miranda y el paseo riberas del Manzanares, con bancos y caminerías.
In the center of the plaza is the main fountain, which consists of two circles. At the center of the fountain itself are several smaller circles that gradually decrease in size until they reach the top. Here, several small white spheres are visible, and above them, the fountain's final circle. These spheres are gold, blue, and white. The base of the fountain is decorated with gold leaves. The arch on the right is adorned with a sphere and yellow garlands. At its base is a green flower that matches the ribbons on the tree. Next, we see the following arch, which has lights only on its interior. Like the small trees in the fountains, it is made of rebar. The lights are visible at night.
From this point we can observe part of Ayacucho Park. From another angle we see the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater, which is located in front of the plaza. It is decorated with several gift boxes on the balcony; these are yellow, green, and red. Continuing the tour, we can again see the central fountain, the planters at the back, and the small fountain. Next to the fountain is another arch decorated with red flowers and lights in the center. Next to the fountain are rectangular gift boxes with green and red ribbons and bows.
En el centro de la plaza se encuentra la fuente principal, que consta de dos círculos y en el centro la fuente que son también varios círculos que van decreciendo hasta llegar a la parte superior, aquí se observan varias bolitas blancas y encima de ellas el círculo final de la fuente, estos son de color dorado, azul y blanco, la base de la fuente está decorada con hojas doradas, el arco del lado derecho está adornado con una esfera y guirnaldas de color amarillo, en la base una flor de color verde a juego con las cintas del árbol, luego observamos el siguiente arco, que tiene solo luces en la parte interior, al igual que los árblitos de las fuentes están elaborados con cabillas, las luces son visibles en horas nocturnas.
Desde este punto podemos observar parte del parque Ayacucho desde otro ángulo vemos el teatro Luis Mariano Rivera, que se ubica al frente de la plaza, está decorado con varias cajas de regalo en el balcón, estas son de color amarillo, verde y rojo, continuando el recorrido, se aprecia nuevamente la fuente central ,las jardineras de la parte posterior y la fuente pequeña, al lado de la fuente, el otro arco decorado con flores rojas y luces en el centro, al lado de la fuente hay cajas de regalo rectangulares, con cintas y moños de color verde y rojo.

In them, we see the small trees with their respective lights and the star on top. On the sides, we see the gift boxes, then a green arch located towards the left side. The floor is made of granite and around the fountain there are several walkways; in another view, one of the front planters can be seen, which has an oval shape with various colorful lights; then a view of the fountains and trees located at the back of the square; again, we see another panoramic view of the trees that make up this square.
At the end of the tour, you can see the central fountain and the smaller fountains, one at the front and one at the back. You can also see the gift boxes and the walkways around the plaza. These are made of concrete and have several white lines and gray rectangles. You can see another arch and again one of the small fountains, the gift box next to it, and the lights on the tree trunks. Next, you can see the side arch, the back arch, and the left side arch. The one in the center is red, and the rest are green. These are located in the walkways of the planters that lead to the center of the plaza.
Al caer la noche, la plaza se ilumina con los hermosos colores de la Navidad, detrás de la escultura vemos varios de los árboles con sus coloridas luces, luego vemos un árbol con varias luces de color verde y dorado, en la puerta principal hay estrellas, arbolitos y campanas, la puerta tiene flores en los laterales y en el marco luces de color blanco, luego una palmera en la jardinera con luces doradas y cinta de color verde y rojo, a continuación la otra palmera y una vista del arco lateral con sus luces rojas y la guirnalda dorada, a continuación se observa la fuente central y al lado de ella una de las fuente pequeñas, en ellas vemos los arbolitos con sus respectivas luces y la estrella en la parte de arriba, a los lados se observan las cajas de regalo, luego un arco de color verde ubicado hacia el lado izquierdo; el piso es de granito y alrededor de la fuente hay varias caminerías, en otra vista se aprecia una de las jardineras frontales que tiene forma ovalada con variadas luces coloridas, seguidamente una vista de las fuentes y los árboles ubicados en la parte posterior de la plaza, nuevamente vemos otra panorámica de los árboles que conforman esta plaza.
Finalizando el recorrido, se aprecia la fuente central y las fuentes pequeñas, ubicadas una en la parte delantera y otra en la parte posterior, vemos también las cajas de regalo y las caminerías alrededor de la plaza, estas son de concreto y tienen varias líneas blancas y rectángulos de color gris, observamos otro de los arcos y nuevamente una de las fuentes pequeñas, la caja de regalo a su lado y las luces en los troncos de los árboles, a continuación se aprecia el arco lateral, el arco trasero y el arco lateral izquierdo, el del centro es de color rojo y los restantes son de color verde, estos están ubicados en los pasillos de las jardineras que conducen hacia el centro de la plaza.

Here we can see the arches, trees, flowerbeds, and the lights that adorn each of them. On one of the trees, there's a staff decorated with gold lights.
This is the first time I've seen this plaza decorated with Christmas decorations, and I really liked the decorations. The little trees in the fountains look lovely, as does the color scheme of the arches and the way they sparkle at night. After walking around the plaza and taking several pictures with my son, we sat on the benches to admire the decorations and the fountains. When it started to rain, we had to quickly go to the bus stop to wait for transportation and return home. It was a nice outing to visit this beautiful city plaza and its colorful Christmas decorations.
En otra fotografía, vemos la parte posterior de la plaza la jardinera y el arco de color rojo, en la siguiente se aprecian las decoraciones de los árboles y la jardineras, estas luces en su mayoría son de color dorado para los árboles y en los arcos son de color verde y rojo, avanzando vemos nuevamente la fuente con sus hermosos arbolitos, fotografías de los árboles con la cinta y las luces, nuevamente la fuente central y una de las fuentes pequeñas, un arco de color rojo en la parte posterior y el arco de color verde hacia el lado izquierdo, finalmente una visión completa de la fuente central y las pequeñas que se ubican a ambos lados, aquí se aprecian los arcos árboles, jardineras y las luces que los adornan a cada uno de ellos, en uno de los árboles hay un bastón decorado con luces doradas.
Es la primera vez que veo esta plaza decorada con motivos navideños y me gustaron los adornos, se ve muy bien la decoración con arbolitos en las fuentes, la combinación de colores en los arcos y el brillo que éstas agregan a la plaza en horas nocturnas, luego de recorrer la plaza y tomar varias fotografías en compañía de mi hijo, nos sentamos en los bancos a observar la decoraciones, las fuentes y al iniciar la lluvia tuvimos que ir rápidamente a la parada a esperar el transporte y volver a casa, fue un lindo paseo visitar esta hermosa plaza de la ciudad y sus coloridas decoraciones navideñas.
