Travel to the River Area!

Today my journey took place near the river (Satluj) where I visited because there is usually a lot of water in summers and nowadays due to lack of water this river has become dried.

This Sutlej river flows about 25 kilometers away from my residence, when the Kashmir glaciers ice melts and the water reaches us via India.

The place where I have taken photos has not so much water but the last year, the condition here was like a flood. Many people had to travel from here to save their lives, properties and animals etc.

The people to whom we have come were also very worried because the water was so high that they had left here by kicking their animals on the boats but today the water is very less because there is snowfall on the glacier now when the temperature rises, the water flows here in large quantity.

The greenery that is visible here is completely destroyed because there is water everywhere and at the place where the flow of water becomes high, soil erosion occurs due to which later the water stops there.

The people living here do not build their own concrete houses because they face the danger of flood in the summer season, due to which they cannot bear such huge losses, hence they build artificial houses to live.

Even at this time, the flow of water in the river is flowing slowly and steadily. Fish are also present in it, but due to the slow flow of water, the fishes go into deeper water.

The water of the river keeps changing its path. The water keeps changing its path in the direction where the flow of water becomes more. The water makes its way in that direction. Whatever the hige mud is there, it wraps it inside itself and takes it away with itself.

Today I visited here, took a lot of views of the river and kept walking here for about 2 hours.
