Animals fulfil and have a very important value in society and this exhibition makes us see them in a different way, or at least tries to consider other perspectives on them.

I have attended many art exhibitions where the protagonists were photographs and of very good quality, but until now I had not had the opportunity to see animals. And not only domestic animals, but all kinds of animals.

But the vision that is brought in this exhibition of photographic art, where several photographers participate in it, tries to show animals in various facets. Animals as a species different from humans and therefore many of them are dominated and even mistreated. This exhibition wants to show the animal side where many of them are bred for that purpose, be it slaughter, to obtain a product, for research or experimentation and much more.
I think it's a reflective exhibition that tries to get people to put themselves on the other side, and although it talks about dreams, that is to say the animal dream, which doesn't really exist, but here it's about asking oneself if it did exist, because dreams belong to the interior and the soul. So the question is ... what if animals had dreams?
This exhibition makes us aware of the fact that many animals are exploited and suffer a lot of suffering, it alludes to a moral consideration in this respect. The focus is on animals that are often enslaved.
Each and every one of the animals photographed are rescued animals and allow us to look closely into their eyes, many of which speak of very ugly experiences. Not only that, but in the photographs themselves they seem to be looking at us.
These are incredible photographs, where I admire the closeness to the animals, especially those that are not very domestic, like a big cat, and also the angles in which they were taken.

During the tour several sections are shown, such as the animals whose destiny is the slaughterhouse. From this view we are shown that it is not true as we are often shown this type of animal, such as a cow, with its tenderness because it gives us milk. The reality is that it is bred for other purposes and like this animal many others. I insist that the photographs with the black background are marvellous.
It is true that it was very difficult for me to take these photos, because of the reflections of the lights, but I think they look quite good without having a glass in front of them.

There is a section dedicated to animals that are in zoos, captive, away from their natural environment and other animals of the same species. These animals suffer a lot of stress and I know that many of them have been banned in different parts of the world and I agree with that, it is horrible to see them caged, locked up and far away from what should be natural for them. Of course the writings on the walls in the different sections speak a lot about the subject, here I only bring my appreciation.
In this section I was struck by the look on the animals' faces as if they really knew that later than the moment the photograph was taken many people would see them.

The next section was dedicated to the animals that are victims of hunting and in this case it is not about the control of animals but about those that are hunted in what are called game farms, raised with the aim of slaughtering them in the hunting market. It also alludes to the business of hunting different species such as deer and also to poaching and illegal hunting.
In this part I tried to take some close up pictures and capture the faces of the animals. They are so beautiful.

The next section was about those animals in the circus and cinema environment, which is often unknown to people, the subjection to captivity, mistreatment, pain and more. I was thinking about how important it would be for people to be aware of how much these animals suffer, especially those used in a circus, many of them suffer constantly.

This exhibition also dealt with the issue of pet- and species trafficking, the business they are in. Nowadays many species are banned as pets, it is not in their nature to be pets, but there are illegal practices and people who buy them. In addition, it deals with the issue of preserving species within the ecosystem.
The photographs in this section were very varied, of many species and were all framed in different ways. I tried to capture everything in the smallest detail.

It was sad to see this section and this little dog rescued from experimentation, it made me think about how many of them there are in the world, I know there are many and not only dogs, but all kinds of animals.

Until now, the exhibition was displayed in various corridors of the museum, until it reached the large halls. A lot of space in the museum has been devoted to this great exhibition and it was wonderful.

Below are various photographs by many photographers, where of course the protagonists are the animals, but from a different point of view to what has been seen before. Happy animals. In these cases the photographs are in colour, whereas when it comes to photographs of animals in captivity they were in black and white or sepia colours.

In these four photographs the truth is that it made me very sad to see them, this should not be like this... that's what I thought at the time.

Later on I was able to see other artists with different expressions of art, from photographs, audiovisual content, to small robots, or at least that's how it seemed to me, made with different components.

Always at the exit of that room there is a place where you can write down your opinion on small pieces of paper and you can also go to the shop to enjoy many articles related to all the exhibitions that are on display at that moment, books and various souvenirs.
It was a fabulous exhibition, I enjoyed it very much and I always hope that people will become aware of the reality of many of the animals in the world, a reality that is not good at all.
Thank you very much for joining me today, I send you my best regards. See you soon.

What a beautiful place to enjoy art!
I applaud and thank you for sharing this exhibition, whose value deserves to be recognized far more than it currently receives.
Excellent photos, by the way. Hugs!
Thank you so so much!!!!π€
Hello dear friend @avdesing, how are you?
What a beautiful exhibition! I loved the way you presented it, raising awareness and fostering empathy for animals.
I know it was difficult to take these photos because of the reflections, but they turned out great!
Have a wonderful day!
It was an out of the ordinary exhibition with soul and awareness as you say. Thank you very much!
Hi Amonet, how are you?
I loved this exhibition, which, beyond showing us beautiful works of art, invites reflection.
I'll never understand how some people can't have empathy and love for animals.
Beautiful photographs.
I sometimes ask myself the same question, they even go as far as mistreatment. Thank you very much for being here!
Β‘QuΓ© fuerte!... es lo ΓΊnico que te puedo decir hoy... π
Muy fuerte, una muestra de arte intensa y hermosa, gracias!
Gracias a ti por compartirla.

There's such elegance in these animal photographs taken against a dark background.
To be there and look at those pictures... amazing!
Good afternoon, @avdesing. First of all, I want to thank you for your effort in providing us with quality photographs despite the reflections.
I believe that, in addition to the quality of the photographs, the fact that you show "the other side" justifies the exposure. And certainly, some of the photographs evoke sadness and pain.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful afternoon. Thank you for this tour.
It was a wonderful exhibition, I love animals and many suffer from conditions they should not. Thank you! Luckily I didn't reflect myself....
It's rare to see an exhibition with such an explicit message, and I liked it...
I thought the tigress was a reflection of you, although seeing her without her mate made me doubt it.
There were no panthers in the exhibition but it would have been me hahaha
I really liked the fact that the message was direct and clear, without beating around the bush.
I'll tell you two things...
First, you're not fooling me, you're the tigress. That's why you said you weren't reflected in the glass... because you were. π€£
Second, I enjoy many exhibitions; some have a hidden message, but it's also necessary to say it out loud from time to time.
I am a panther... but felines are not always accompanied by other felines... sometimes they are other species.π€£
I'm going to the kitchen, good night!
Buenas noches!! Te veo maΓ±ana!! π€π
Hey @avdesing :)), good evening! Thank you for this visit to an exhibition that makes us think how do we treat (as society) the animals. The reality is many times so cruel π and we just continue without changing anything. About the dreams of animals...I think they do dream, at least I think the dog of my parents dreams sometimes (you know, like "running" with his legs while sleeping)
And my cats also dream and have memories, lots of memories. That they have a kind of consciousness, I don't know if all animals are the same, but I do believe in it.
It was an emotional show, I wish a lot of people would think about that. Thank you!π
Gracias por documentar toda tu experiencia. FantΓ‘stico.
Muchas gracias a vos por leer, saludos!
Such beautiful portraits of our fellow creatures!
Thank you!!!π
