One of my biggest bucket lists this year has come true, a tour for the first time visiting the island of Java. After 30 years of my life, it is more worthy to be said as something valuable in my life. Not only can I take the train from the starting point of the island of Java to the end, I can even see something that used to only be seen in television advertisements, and now I see it in person.
Who wouldn't love Mount Bromo with a view as beautiful as this. Truly, something that cannot be expressed in words that this is like heaven. It didn't feel like 13 hours of traveling by train and finally arrived at the point, the city of Malang.
Actually there is a better way to Malang, but, I think everyone will choose to use the train, not because of the comfort on the train but from the city of Jakarta to Malang, every road is full of natural beauty. From the vast expanse of beautiful rice fields to the pine forests that are at several points on the train journey. That's why I could survive sitting on the train for 13 hours.
Until the point where I finally saw the very beautiful Mount Bromo. Arrived in Malang city exactly at 00.00 am. I could sleep for a while during the trip and woke up with very fresh eyes to receive the natural beauty of Mount Bromo.
At 04.00 am, I finally arrived at my destination to see Mount Bromo. But I was not as lucky as others who could get a beautiful milky way view this morning. They say that it is not uncommon to see the milky way on Mount Bromo if you are very lucky. Before climbing to the point where you can see Mount Bromo, we ate at one of the stalls to fill up our energy so that we could survive until 10.00 am.
The cold of Mount Bromo apparently penetrated my jacket. I don't even understand why I only wore a thin jacket. The first experience that could make me almost hypothermic, luckily when the sun began to show itself, my body felt warm and I could continue the journey.
One thing you should know is that it is not easy to climb Mount Bromo. A guide said that if you go to Mount Bromo, you must use a jeep that has extraordinary resistance to the tires used. Mount Bromo has very slippery sand that cannot even be penetrated by motorbikes. So, never try to use a motorbike to climb Mount Bromo if you don't want something to happen to you.
Some of the things I like about this trip is seeing lots of wild edelweiss flowers growing. However, my hands are still not allowed to pick them considering that these flowers must continue to grow around this area as their habitat. Don't because of my selfishness, I can destroy the beauty of Mount Bromo.
On this trip, I also got many friends from one team who used the same tour guide service. Wow, this is very exciting considering that there are so many people who go to Mount Bromo from far away places. There is even someone who lives at the end of the city in Indonesia just to see the natural beauty of Mount Bromo.
