La transparencia de las aguas en los lagos de la Provincia de Rio Negro y Neuquén son sencillamente hermosos y en la temporada de verano sus playas son el caribe de la Patagonia, por eso mi familia y yo teníamos el objetivo de visitar y bañarnos en una de ellas. Por esta razón el destino de hoy se llama Rio Correntoso, ubicado en la ruta 40 de Villa Angostura a 45 minutos de San Carlos de Bariloche.
The transparency of the waters in the lakes of the Province of Rio Negro and Neuquén are simply beautiful and in the summer season its beaches are the Caribbean of Patagonia, so my family and I had the goal of visiting and bathing in one of them. For this reason today's destination is called Rio Correntoso, located on route 40 in Villa Angostura, 45 minutes from San Carlos de Bariloche.
Nos llamó la atención de visitar el lugar por dos razones, en primer lugar, por lo cristalino de sus aguas (vistas en varias publicaciones turísticas) y otra por lo corto que era. Es uno de los más cortos del mundo con aproximadamente 200 metros de longitud.
We were attracted to visit the place for two reasons, firstly, for the crystal clear waters (seen in several tourist publications) and secondly, for how short it was. It is one of the shortest in the world with approximately 200 meters long.
El rio se enlaza con el lago Correntoso y el lago Nahuel Huapi. Sus aguas en verano siguen siendo frías pero soportables, es ideal para bañarse, solo hay que tener cuidado con su corriente. Obviamente mi familia y yo nos sumergimos en esta hermosura de rio.
The river joins Lake Correntoso and Lake Nahuel Huapi. Its waters in summer are still cold but bearable, it is ideal for swimming, you just have to be careful with the current. Obviously, my family and I submerged in this beautiful river.
Es asombroso el color turquesa de sus aguas, muchas personas van a pasar el día allí, tal vez lo más incómodo es que posee solo una pequeña porción de playa, el resto está rodeado de piedras que sirven para sentarse y bueno eso es lo de menos cuando tienes tanta hermosura frente a tus ojos.
It is amazing the turquoise color of its waters, many people go to spend the day there, perhaps the most uncomfortable thing is that it has only a small portion of beach, the rest is surrounded by stones that serve to sit and well that's the least when you have so much beauty in front of your eyes.
Este rio se encuentra debajo de un puente peatonal diseñado para los turistas, ya sea para observar la belleza o sencillamente para lanzarse desde las bases del mismo, formando parte de la aventura del lugar.
This river is located under a pedestrian bridge designed for tourists, either to observe the beauty or simply to jump from the base of it, being part of the adventure of the place.
El lugar es muy atractivo y sobre todo tranquilo, los turistas aprovechan la oportunidad de ir a pescar, pasear en kayak, llevar snack y pasar un día de sol en familia. Esta visita fue muy refrescante y quedamos enamorados del lugar, nos divertimos y nos dimos el chapuzón del año. Probablemente regresaremos en un futuro no tan lejano a disfrutar nuevamente de esta maravilla natural.
The place is very attractive and above all quiet, tourists take the opportunity to go fishing, kayaking, take snacks and spend a sunny day with the family. This visit was very refreshing and we fell in love with the place, we had fun and we took the dip of the year. We will probably return in the not so distant future to enjoy this natural wonder again.
