The Sky Gallery in Pattaya , Thailand.

Today been Sunday we were talking about having afternoon lunch some where by the beach with nice views a nature scenery surrounding us followed by a lovely sunset not much to ask for but my friend been a long time expat in Pattaya city was very familiar with the city so he suggested The Sky Gallery in Pattaya which he said had all that i had asked plus it wasn't a over priced restaurant having all the Western and Thai cuisines well, i wasn't going to argue with that proposition and we made our way over there.

The Sky Gallery in Pattaya is well known for been the most popular beach side restaurants in town with it's stunning views and it's delicious foods. On arrival to the restaurant we had the choice of many seats as unfortunately with still been covid period there is no overload of tourist which i found it more comfortable without the huge crowds and having to wait in a queue as normally with this restaurant to would need to book ahead for a table.

As my friend said the variety of foods were outstanding we ordered some entrees and some fresh juices like mango and strawberry just to settle ourselves in and absorb the atmosphere and enjoy the panorama view.

What makes this restaurant so famous and popular is because this restaurant has been built on Pratamnak Hill the highest point of Pattaya city, which gives The Sky Gallery some of the finest views in Pattaya from up here on a clear day you would have a great view of Pattaya Bay and would be able to see clearly the island of Koh Larn in the distance but unfortunately the pass couple of weeks in Pattaya city have been very smoggy.

As you enter the venue, you will see a large are of outdoor seating with tables and bean bags spread neatly over the area and it's these these seats that have the best view for couples and groups but if you prefer the indoors where you can enjoy air-conditioning this is also available but i would highly recommend sitting outside as the atmosphere and the views are simply amazing.

It was a great choice made by my friend with fantastic views of the bay, delicious food which doesn't cost an arm and a leg and attentive staff, very nice place to enjoy the sunset,... not the loud music but nice background chill music, the coolest place in Pattaya where you can dine varieties of great foods and enjoy amazing hillside view over the sea. The overall setting combines lushly nature with great architect that blends so well together.

After our delicious foods and fruit juices my friend said we could take a set of steps from the grounds of this restaurant that would lead us down to the beach area which was down the hill from the restaurant this was the perfect walk to burn of some of them calories so of we went.

This was quite a secluded beach from the main Pattaya beach or Jomitien beach almost like a private beach for the couple of hotels sitting on top of the hill and a ideal beach to come down and relax or have a swim after lunch.

By the time we had strolled from one end of the beach to the other end the sun had already disappeared behind the horizon we then found another set of steps which lead us back up to the road and walking from this end of the road we had noticed that there were another three restaurants along this hillside the Three Mermaids, The ForRest and The Chocolate Factory that we must try another time.

This was a classic the old Mr Bean Mini, in a Louis Vuitton Edition.

In all it had turned out just the way we wanted the afternoon to go we were not disappointing in any way and we got what we had come here to see the Pattaya Bay Sunset.
