Saanen an authentic alpine village

in Worldmappin20 days ago

It was in summer on a short trip in this picturesque elegant alpine village in the Bernese Oberland right next only 5 min. to the famous resort town of Gstaad, where nature , ptradition meets luxury. Even in high season, the village remains calmer and quietly than Gstaad. Saanen is one of the best preserved examples of traditional alpine architecture in Switzerland, the dominant architectural form are the chalets.

Hey @almi you are welcome.
Thanks for using @worldmappin 😘

I love Alpine villages and exploring them. They have a lovely atmosphere about them.

Welcome, thank you very much!

Interesting places to explore within the area, the gothic church looks well built with a nice wooden interior :)

Many thanks!

The village's architecture, layout, organization, and scenery are very pleasant. It is definitely a good choice for a short vacation. If I had the opportunity and time, I would love to visit.
Great job, my friend.

Welcome, many thanks!
