Excursion to Sentiero Grandi Alberi - Recoaro Terme - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone! Today I am bombarding you with a lot of photos that I took at the Sentiero Grandi Alberi in Recoaro Terme, in the province of Vicenza, a beautiful place that I did not know and that left me ecstatic as I walked along it.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi vi bombardo con un bel po' di foto che ho scattato al Sentiero Grandi Alberi a Recoaro Terme, in provincia di Vicenza, un bellissimo posto che non conoscevo e che mentre lo percorrevo, mi ha lasciato estasiato.

To reach it, you have to drive through Recoaro Terme and then take a somewhat bumpy and narrow road which, somewhat steep, leads to an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level.

Per raggiungerlo bisogna attraversare con l'auto Recoaro Terme per poi prendere una strada un po' dissestata e stretta che, un po ripida, porta ad una altitudine di di circa 1000 metri sul livello del mare.

You park your car in a large space near a small wooden building which in winter is used as a reference center for cross-country skiing.

Si parcheggia l'auto in un ampio spazio vicino a un piccolo fabbricato in legno che d'inverno viene utilizzato come centro di riferimento per lo sci di fondo.

About fifty meters away there is a small village, very nice, a pity only for some modern element that distorts the ancient aspect that characterizes it.

Ad una cinquantina di metri c'è un piccolo borgo, molto carino, peccato solo per qualche elemento moderno che snatura l'aspetto antico che lo caratterizza.

The environment is already pleasant and through a small stone road you get up slowly.

Along the path there are information signs that illustrate the peculiarities you will encounter, such as centuries-old trees, ancient buildings and more.

After a while you will reach the ancient Morando hut which is open during the spring and summer months.

Dopo poco raggiungerete l'antica malga Morando che è aperta durante i mesi primaverili ed estivi.

After the hut you arrive at a crossroads, I recommend taking the trad to the right downhill, on the return of the excursion you will return from the road to the left.

Dopo la malga si arriva ad un bivio, io consiglio di prendere la trad a destra in discesa, al ritorno dell'escursione si ritornerà dalla strada a sinistra.

The path is beautiful and the view even more, I did not expect to discover such a beautiful place and I had not yet seen anything.

Il sentiero è bellissimo e il panorama anche di più, non mi aspettavo di scoprire un posto così bello e non avevo ancora visto niente.

Occasionally there are old buildings still inhabited.

The more you go on, the better the view opens up to the surrounding mountains that surround the view like a belt.

I have been there at the end of the summer and there were some beautiful purple flowers to embellish the path.

A downhill section of the path leads back into the deciduous forest thus offering hikers a bit of shade.

A slight climb and it emerges out of the woods in an environment that gradually reveals itself in its beauty.

Una leggera salita e si risbuca fuori dal bosco in un ambiente che si rivela gradualmente nella sua bellezza.

The mountains were even closer and the sun, somewhat mitigated by the clouds, could be glimpsed from behind the peaks.

Le montagne erano ancora più vicine e il sole un po' mitigato dalle nuvole si intravedeva da dietro le vette.

This is one of the most beautiful parts of the route, the colors, the vegetation, the rocky mountains and a winding path that winds its way through small hills.

Questo è uno dei tratti più belli del percorso, i colori, la vegetazione, le montagne rocciose e un sentiero sinuoso che si infila tra piccole collinette.

At one point the sun made its way through the clouds and the light illuminated the landscape making it even more beautiful. I knew that moment wouldn't last long and I took advantage of taking some quick shots.

Ad un certo punto il sole si è fatto strada tra le nuvole e la luce ha illuminato il paesaggio rendendolo ancora più bello. Sapevo non sarebbe durato molto quel momento e ho approffitato per fare aluni scatti veloci.

That stretch of the route is really beautiful because the landscape is beautiful and the road is all on the plain, it is not distracting, you can turn your attention to the enjoyment of the environment and you have the sounds of nature.

Quel tratto del percorso è proprio bello perchè il paesaggio è stupendo e la strada tutta sul piano, non distrae, si può rivolgere l'attenzione tutta al godimento dell'ambiente e hai suoni della natura.

There are many opportunities to take quality shots, it is definitely a place that I will return to visit next year.

Le occasioni per fare scatti di qualità sono moltissime, è sicuramente un luogo che tornerò a visitare l'anno prossimo.

A little further on, after a beautiful flowery meadow, there is a barely visible path that goes into the woods and from there you can reach a small lake.

Poco più avanti dopo un bellissimo prato fiorito c'è un sentiero poco visibile che si infila nel bosco e dalì si può raggiungere un piccolo laghetto.

The path is downhill, but easily accessible.

Il sentiero è in discesa, ma facilmente percorribile.

Unfortunately it hadn't rained in those days and the small lake was very dry.

ITA

Purtroppo in quei giorni non aveva piovuto e il piccolo laghetto era molto secco.

I tried to go up a little hill to see if there was a good view and I have to say it wasn't bad!

Ho provato arisalire una collinetta per vedere se c'era una bella vista e devo dire che non era male!

Then to make a ring hike I went back a little to take a different path.

Poi per fare un'escursione ad anello sono tornato un pochino indietro per prendere un sentiero diverso.

I arrived in a beautiful area, I was walking on a soft lawn I was alone, I was fine, a beautiful feeling of serenity.

Sono arrivato in una zona bellissima, camminavo su un prato soffice ero da solo, stavo benissimo, una bellissima sensazione di serenità.

Fortunately, then I found a house even if uninhabited, but I thought if there is a house, there is also a road!

There were a lot of gibberish signs, but the trail was now visible, so I relaxed and continued the hike.

There was an old cold room still intact there.
A volume embedded in the ground that was used to keep food products fresh all year round.

By now I had almost reached the crossroads that I had taken at the beginning of the excursion and the landscape continued to amaze me, I always stopped to turn around and take pictures.

Ormai ero quasi arrivato al bivio che avevo intrapreso all'inizio dell'escursione e il paesaggio continuava a stupirmi, mi fermavo sempre per girarmi e fare foto.

I was quite tired, so I decided to stop at Malga Morando for a snack and then tackle the last stretch of the route to get to the car.

Ero abbastanza stanco, così ho deciso di fermarmi alla Malga Morando per uno spuntino e poi affrontare l'ultimo tratto di percorso per arrivare all'auto.

It was one of the most amazing excursions I have done this year, next year, I will continue to explore this area because it really deserves it!
