En esta ocasión les mostraré los recuerdos de mi viaje a la Patagonia. Recorrí los Siete Lagos, un tramo hermoso que une San Martín de los Andes y Villa La Angostura, dos localidades pertenecientes a la Provincia de Neuquén. Además fui hacia San Carlos de Bariloche, ciudad de Río Negro. En lo que a mi opinión respecta, el Sur Argentino es una de las regiones más lindas de mi querida Argentina, con una belleza imponente en su naturaleza. Fue un viaje muy especial para mí ya que lo realicé a costa de trabajar durante varios meses como albañil, experiencia que contaré en otro momento.

This time I will show you the memories of my trip to Patagonia. I toured the Seven Lakes, a beautiful stretch that connects San Martin de los Andes and Villa La Angostura, two towns belonging to the Province of Neuquen. I also went to San Carlos de Bariloche, a city in Río Negro. As far as I am concerned, Southern Argentina is one of the most beautiful regions of my beloved Argentina, with an imposing beauty in its nature. It was a very special trip for me since I made it at the cost of working for several months as a bricklayer, an experience that I will tell you about another time.

Uno de los lugares que más me gustó fue El Cajón del Azul, ubicado sobre la Cordillera de los Andes cerca de El Bolsón, en Río Negro. Hice una extensa caminata de 8km a través de los senderos del lugar, pero a pesar del cansancio fue mágico recorrerlo en medio de las montañas, rodeado de bosque y desde ahí ver el encajonamiento del río Azul, que le da el nombre al lugar.

One of the places I liked the most was El Cajón del Azul, located on the Andes Mountains near El Bolsón, in Río Negro. I did an extensive 8km hike through the trails of the place, but despite the fatigue it was magical to walk in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by forest and from there see the boxing of the Azul river, which gives its name to the place.

Como pueden notar, las vistas que ofrecía ese lugar eran impresionantes. Al ver las fotos que tomé me transporto a ese instante y sólo puedo recordar un sentimiento absoluto de paz. Recuerdo los sonidos del silencio, algo que pocas veces se puede apreciar tras el ruido constante en nuestro ritmo acelerado de la rutina. Fueron instantes donde pude, por primera vez, estar en un estado de profunda ataraxia.

As you can see, the views from that place were breathtaking. Looking at the pictures I took, I am transported back to that moment and I can only remember an absolute feeling of peace. I remember the sounds of silence, something that can rarely be appreciated after the constant noise in our accelerated rhythm of routine. They were moments where I could, for the first time, be in a state of deep ataraxia.

El día estuvo nublado e inestable, pero de a ratos salía el sol para calmar el frío de la llovizna intermitente. A pesar de eso, llegué a un sector donde la gente se echaba al agua desde una distancia de 30 metros, así que no me resistí y a pesar del frío me zambullí. Cuando salí de agua tuve muchísimo frío pero aún así fue una linda experiencia.

The day was cloudy and unstable, but the sun came out from time to time to calm the cold of the intermittent drizzle. In spite of that, I reached a sector where people were jumping into the water from a distance of 30 meters, so I did not resist and despite the cold I dived in. When I came out of the water I was very cold but it was still a nice experience.

Ahí estaba contemplando el horizonte del Lago Nahuel Huapi, del lado perteneciente a Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. Estuve tres días en este lugar, en un camping que estaba ubicado a 100 metros del lago. Todas las mañanas me levantaba y desayunaba en su orilla. Comenzaba el día con una energía única.

There I was contemplating the horizon of Lake Nahuel Huapi, on the side belonging to Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. I spent three days in this place, in a camping site located 100 meters from the lake. Every morning I got up and had breakfast on its shore. I started the day with a unique energy.

Realmente viví muchos momentos lindos que no capturé en ninguna fotografía, ya que soy de esas personas que le gusta disfrutar el momento a la antigua, con los ojos y la atención enfocada al paisaje, y no a un dispositivo electrónico. Quizá sea porque estoy todo el tiempo con la tecnología y, aunque me encante hacerlo, a veces siento que necesito desconectarme de ella por un momento. Y cuando tengo la oportunidad de ver semejantes paisajes, prefiero disfrutarla y conectarme al 100% con la naturaleza.

I really lived many beautiful moments that I didn't capture in any photograph, as I am one of those people who likes to enjoy the moment the old-fashioned way, with my eyes and attention focused on the landscape, and not on an electronic device. Maybe it's because I'm with technology all the time and, although I love doing it, sometimes I feel I need to disconnect from it for a moment. And when I have the opportunity to see such landscapes, I prefer to enjoy it and connect 100% with nature.

Espero que algún día puedan visitar Argentina, un país naturalmente hermoso, de sur a norte, con una singular belleza en cada región del territorio. Mi región favorita es la Patagonia por cuestiones relacionadas al clima que es frío y seco, o su paisaje montañoso, pero hay regiones con paisajes, climas y estilos de vida para todos los gustos.

I hope that someday you can visit Argentina, a naturally beautiful country, from south to north, with a unique beauty in each region of the territory. My favorite region is Patagonia for reasons related to the climate, which is cold and dry, or its mountainous landscape, but there are regions with landscapes, climates and lifestyles for all tastes.
