Hasta ahora he publicado sobre visitas que he realizado a otros países, hoy les traigo la primera publicación donde el principal protagonista es mi país, Cuba. Aprovechando que estábamos de vacaciones en el mes de agosto de este propio año, en el Hotel Barceló SolyMar, con toda la familia, decidimos visitar algunos lugares de excelencia del lugar y compartir con ustedes las mejores imágenes. Este hotel se encuentra en la Playa de Varadero, en la Ciudad de Matanzas, Cuba.

So far I have published about visits I have made to other countries, today I bring you the first publication where the main protagonist is my country, Cuba. Taking advantage of the fact that we were on vacation in the month of August of this very year, at the Hotel Barceló SolyMar, with the whole family, we decided to visit some places of excellence of the place and share with you the best images. This hotel is located in Varadero Beach, in the city of Matanzas, Cuba.

Antes de nada, para ponerlos en contexto, Varadero o La Península de Hicacos, para aquellas personas que no lo conozcan, es uno de los principales polos turísticos que tiene Cuba. Se encuentra aproximadamente a 30 kilómetros de la Ciudad de Matanzas y es una península de aproximadamente 20 kilómetros.

First of all, to put it in context, Varadero or the Hicacos Peninsula, for those who do not know it, is one of the main tourist centers in Cuba. It is located approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Matanzas and is a peninsula of approximately 20 kilometers.

La península está bañada por las aguas del Mar Caribe, por la costa norte y por las aguas de la Bahía de Cárdenas por el sur. Su principal atracción turística son sus playas, las cuales están formadas por una arena blanca, muy fina y aguas cristalinas, lo que le da el sello y el reconocimiento como una de las mejores playas del mundo.

The peninsula is bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea on the north coast and by the waters of the Bay of Cardenas to the south. Its main tourist attraction are its beaches, which are formed by fine white sand and crystal clear waters, which gives it the seal and recognition as one of the best beaches in the world.

Día soleado como de costumbre en los meses de verano en Cuba, gorra, sombrero y espejuelos en manos nos decidimos e hicimos la marcha a pie. La idea, aprovechar al máximo el tiempo y visitar la mayor cantidad de lugares para mostrarles imágenes de varios parajes y que el lector se lleve una idea de lo hermoso del lugar y puedan planificar sus viajes.

El viaje arrancó por el Boulevard de Varadero, como siempre lleno de visitantes y turistas en la misma faena que nosotros, celulares o cámaras en manos, captando o tratando de tomar las mejores imágenes que nos sirvan de recuerdo en un futuro.

Sunny day as usual in the summer months in Cuba, cap, hat and glasses in hands we decided and made the march on foot. The idea was to make the most of the time and visit as many places as possible to show you images of various places so that the reader can get an idea of the beauty of the place and can plan their trips.

The trip started along the Varadero Boulevard, as always full of visitors and tourists in the same task as us, cell phones or cameras in their hands, capturing or trying to take the best images that will serve as souvenirs in the future.

Seguido dimos con la Casa del Café, en ese sitio se vende todas las marcas cubanas de café, molido o en granos, posee un interior muy acogedor y desde que entras te invade un olor agradable e inconfundible a café, como dice mi abuela, el café es un chismoso.

No podía faltar la visita a la Casa del Ron y del Habano, ambos símbolos de la personalidad del cubano, en este caso el país se caracteriza por tener muy buenos rones y muy buen tabaco. Les presento al señor que se encuentra en el banco, Alejandro Robaina en una imitación en yeso y un reconocimiento a su personalidad por ser uno de los mejores agricultores que cosechaba la hoja de tabaco en su vega, siendo reconocida por su calidad a nivel mundial.

We could not miss a visit to the Casa del Ron y del Habano, both symbols of the personality of the Cuban, in this case the country is characterized by having very good rums and very good tobacco. Creo que en todos los países del mundo existe algo referido a los Beatles, pues si, también aquí tenemos un Bar-Restaurante The Beatles, el cual se encuentra dentro de los diez lugares que no debes de dejar de visitar si te encuentras por Varadero. Sitio emblemático caracterizado por cuatro esculturas en tamaño natural de Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr y George Harrison, donde se puede disfrutar de bebidas cubanas y buena música rock.

Ya nos encontrábamos un poco agotados, el sol no daba tregua, y habíamos caminado bastante, por lo que decidimos que nuestra última visita seria al Parque Josone, paraje milenario fundado en 1942, con una vegetación hermosa y una paz exuberante especial para relajarse. Su principal atractivo es el lago, en el que se pueden alquilar medios acuáticos para dar un paseo.

We were already a little exhausted, the sun did not give truce, and we had walked enough, so we decided that our last visit would be to Josone Park, a millenary place founded in 1942, with beautiful vegetation and a special exuberant peace to relax. Its main attraction is the lake, where you can rent aquatic means to go for a walk.
