A Tour To Township Chair Lift Abbottabad

It was a fine day of the week and the date was 6th July 2024. When I went with my family to enjoy the chairlift of Abbottabad Township for the first time. Not that I haven't heard of it before. Rather, it is already in front of me. That is, when I was present in Abbottabad, when this chair lift and this picnic point were built۔

My father had come from Karachi and was on leave for a few days. He wanted to go to this place with all of us. So I also took Hami and we started our journey in a vehicle which we call Keri here. A boxy car that you can call a mini Hi-S.

I only had my mobile to take pictures so I took some pictures which I am sharing along with. They're not that pretty but they're still what I can show.
We traveled at least half an hour by that vehicle and reached this picnic point. People from all over the world came here. I mean people from different cities of Pakistan came here. They include Saraiki, Punjabi, Pathan, Hindko speakers. From different cities ie from Karachi, from Deir Ismail Khan to Rawalpindi. etc. All this is worth mentioning because those people came directly from there to this place.

The weather was cloudy as can be seen in pictures and it was cold at that point. These are beautiful mountains and this area is very much calm and noiseless.

These all photos and one selfie I captured with my phone while riding the famous chair lift of Abbottabad. It is truly a chair lift. 😂 Only two chairs and that's it. One handle in front of person to save him from falling on the mountains surfaces.

That journey was much more comfortable. It was very quiet. Only the sound of the wind sometimes came. Along with this, one could see these beautiful views on which this chairlift has been installed after a lot of hard work. It was a long journey. And the speed of the elevator was also quite low.
That is, it was non-existent. You can see every single mountain and tree very well. But still a good effort, managing such a large scale picnic point in such a difficult place is quite a feat. I was humming along for the ride. And the funny thing is that I was sitting alone on two chairs.
On the way back, a boy also came with me and told that they had reached here while traveling from Karachi and planned to visit more picnic points in Abbottabad. Those people came from Karachi on their cars.


I was drinking a cold drink in the lift and I was thinking that I can save this for the way back. But it ended in the starting 5 minutes. 😂.

When we landed at the place where the lift stopped. We wandered around there for a while, there was an arrangement to roam around. And there was a park as well as natural drinking water. Toilet arrangement was everything. However, there was quite a lot of space and open space to roam around. There were plenty of other people. Likewise, I took some of my photos there to share.

Here are the photos that were shareable and that were taken there. And this was my journey that I shared. We returned home at nine o'clock at night. And by the time we were there on the picnic it was almost seven o'clock. And then it took us sometime to get back home.
