“Why do you go away?

So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colours. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.” ** – Terry Pratchett.

Hello Hivers! Let me give you guys a short trip to a beautiful and magical place, Manali, Himachal Pradesh.

Manali is a paradise for mountain lovers with spell-binding views, charming streams, the fairy-tale-like fog surrounding little hidden cottages, and a lingering scent of pines and freshness. Oh, and you can ride a yak or ride your bike up the famous Rohtang pass to Leh.

Being a mountain person is kind of having inner peace. Every time I come to the Himalayas, it’s more like returning back to myself. It’s a place of solitude for me, an escape from the routine of life where you can actually chill and have fun. This black and white picture is of nature park route where we can get lost in the silence of the pine forest. And its so peaceful and relaxing walk. Must visit this place guys and have a lovely walk into the woods.

Then comes Old Manali, Old Manali is where all the travellers, backpackers and tourists head and use it as a base as there is a plethora of funky cafés, restaurants, boho shops, and bars to hang out. Manali was a prominent location on the hippie trail and ever since has been a Himalayan bohemian town. This picture is taken enroute Old Manali, and you can also use it as your wallpaper. One of my fav clicks, also it was my phone wallpaper for like 1 year!
