Today doesn't look grand or spectacular at first.

‎But when I look back, I realize how blessed we really are.

‎My Two Boys Upstairs
‎

‎Today, we started our day with my two boys upstairs. We enjoyed the view there and the weather. I loved watching them play with just poles. They turned them into everything their imagination could think of. Then Aiden suddenly stopped and looked up. He saw a flock of birds flying across the sky. I tried to take a picture of the birds, but my camera didn't do them justice.

‎A Thoughtful Friend

‎Later on, as we went downstairs... A thoughtful friend surprised us with sooooo many snacks for the kids. It's like a mini celebration to Aiden when he instantly grabs a pack of biscuits and runs toward me, which means he wants me to open it. As I opened it for him, he immediately munched it. Ryzen soon followed, choosing his own biscuit. Our friend was so generous, that's why we really appreciate her.

‎A Delicious Dessert

‎By lunchtime, another act of love arrived. Our friend, who knows that Ryzen loves cakes so much, sent us a delicious dessert. Ryzen was so happy because of it.

‎Planted The Red Gumamela Stems
‎

‎In the afternoon, I planted the red gumamela stems I brought home from our friend's place. It's been two days since we visited her, so I noticed they were starting to look dry. I'm not really good at planting, and I wondered if maybe this one would end up like the others I tried before. The red gumamela flower I saw at our friend's place is so bright and beautiful. ❤️ And I hope it grows the same here at home. Maybe they'll take root. And surprise me with new leaves, and eventually, bloom. Let's just believe right now.
