RE: Hallo zusammen, ich bin Viola!

Welcome, my german is quite rusty but it's nice to see content creators with diverse interests joining Hive and from what I noticed recently using the platform well through upvotes and downvotes. We need more of that so I'll be following you and even though I may not translate everything correctly in my mind it'll give me a reason to brush up on the language and give you some support with my votes, even if the content itself isn't something I was looking for particularly. :D

Thank you for your kind words. Don't worry, German is notoriously hard to understand for non-native speakers, there are a lot of pitfalls to avoid 😅.@acidyo

Yeah, I'm hoping to get some people from my kink bubble over here, but I guess it's not that easy as most of them aren't that technically advanced. But maybe I will meet some open minded kinksters here on Hive, we will see.

I'm still toying with the idea of having my posts translated into English to reach a wider audience, but just translating the posts and "earning" again seems like a scam to me and I want to avoid that.

Don't worry, the content I write is quite special, so I don't expect everyone to like it 😀

There's ways to do that without it coming off as farmy/spammy, and without punishing your autovote/followers who wanna support anything you post once you get to that stage.

Either include an english version in the post, some split it in half or add "spoilers" for the translated version that need to be clicked on to be viewed. Or then a new post where instead of choosing the "declind rewards" option which usually punishes autovoters by eliminating both author and curation rewards, you can pick the "burn" option and get an icon on your post highlighting what happens to the rewards.

The translations don't even necessarily have to be done manually either by you or say a team if you're at that stage, curators here don't usually mind as long as the original content is genuine.

If you've checked out the @peakd front-end they also have AI assistance for readers to translate the post or read it up for them or give an overview, etc, so maybe I should've just done that in the first place than attempting to read it in german, haha.

Either way there's plenty of options, the 'abuse' aspect only enters if there's clear indication of someone attempting to farm, etc, which as a newcomer you don't have to worry about much.

There's a lot of stuff to learn here even for those who figure out how to create an account, stake some hive and use it, it's quite a deep rabbit hole so best of luck exploring it and feel free to ask if there's anything you're wondering about!
