Greetings poets!
It's time for another poetry prompt. For this week's prompt I challenge you to be creative with what you see.
This week's prompt: Poetry Cubes
Write a poem using the pictures seen on the cubes from the image below. For each cube, think of a word that comes to mind and use that word in your poem. The word doesn't have to be the literal image. For example, an image of a chair could be the word "chair" or the word "sitting" or even "office". It's whatever comes to mind. When writing the poem, be sure to bold the words inspired by the cube. Make sure you use all nine images. Make sure you comment on at least two other poems when you post yours.

Make sure you comment on at least two other poems when you post yours.
Here's a quick example I came up with:
An idea crept into my mind
As I sat just wasting time
Have I used the tools on my tool belt?
To play the hand that I've been delt
Or have I sailed aimlessly?
At the mercy of the sea
Have I read enough to know
The fruits my work could someday grow?
Or am I forever destined to thirst
For food for thought in the desert cursed
(You don't have to use a word on each line like I did. They just have to be somewhere in you poem.)
I'm not going to run these prompts like a contest and can't promise any monetary prize. I can however offer to spotlight any poems written in response to the last prompt. If you tag this account (@hive-161465) and my main account (@moeknows), I will do my best to pin your poem here in the #blockchainpoets community.
Happy writing, everyone.
I am troubled by the loneliness of these spaces of inspiration. A fraternal greeting in the hope that 2026 will bring well-being for everyone.
