Another excellent poem. I liked the line "swears love to sunbleached bones" and I also thought this stanza was great:
There's death aplenty here,
but none of it's worth mentioning,
cause none of it's his.

Thanks for reading :) I'm happy you liked it. I'm trying to write more frequently these days. I tend to sit on stuff for a long time, agonizing over every line and editing myself to death. Now I'm trying to publish more often and force myself away from perfectionism. I can always go back and rework things if I want :)
Yes, I know very well what that is, but I work editing and proofreading other people's texts, so I'm too tired to do the same with my own...
I'm a writer by trade so I get it :) It's hard to be creative sometimes after a full day of working with words.
