Me encanta que se brinden estos espacios que pertenecen a todos y qué colegios públicos pueden realizar sus eventos allí. En estos días de mucho calor en la Argentina, es necesario tener espacios con calefacción propia, para que los chicos y las familias lo puedan disfrutar realmente y no padecerlo. Todo muy lindo, ordenado y limpio. En Argentina la mayoría de los colegios privados tienen estos espacios propios. Es muy diferente en algunos colegios públicos que no cuentan con estos lugares tan lindos e ideales, para realizar eventos festivos, cívicos y también las graduaciones.

Genaro, que es mi hijo mayor, dice, tienen que ir con el mismo outfit todos. Me causó mucha gracia, pero intenté que todos coincidamos en nuestra vestimenta. Don Juan está ingresando a la adolescencia, y la verdad no sé por qué razón no disfruta de que le saquemos fotos. Dos papás que crean contenido y el niño que no quiere fotos. En estos casos me tengo que poner firme y solamente a mí me hace caso. Por supuesto que no lo obligamos, pero tiene que entender que para nosotros son momentos muy lindos y bonitos y está bueno tener imágenes para recordarlo. Mi hija mayor también le habló y le dijo que, cuando crezca, le va a encantar verse en ese momento junto a sus padres, porque a ella le pasó.

My oldest daughter also talked to him and told him that when she grows up, she'll love seeing herself in those moments with her parents, because that's how she felt.
Como padres también cerramos etapas escolares y cuando una puerta se cierra, inevitablemente continuamos abriendo nuevos espacios, para darles la mejor oportunidad en su desarrollo académico. Todo indica que irá a un colegio técnico, casualmente un colegio muy parecido al que cursó su padre. Todavía no tengo la certeza de que así será, pero haré la intención. Los colegios técnicos en la Argentina tienen una rica historia y los alumnos egresados de los mismos, casi siempre tienen espacios en diferentes empresas. Siento que ya en el secundario le enseñan herramientas y aptitudes, con las cuales se pueden desenvolver en la vida misma y por supuesto prestando servicio a alguna empresa. Veremos qué sucede con eso y por ahora disfrutemos del comienzo de las vacaciones.

No comparto la libreta de calificaciones, ya que verdaderamente no lo veo tan importante. Siento que la preparación del niño tanto en el colegio como en nuestros hogares es lo más importante. Ser personas responsables, educadas y algo que me gusta siempre decirlo, es que sean soñadores. Muchos sueños no se cumplen, pero vale la pena intentarlo.

I don't share the importance of report cards, as I don't truly see them as that crucial. I feel that a child's preparation, both at school and at home, is paramount. Debido al intenso calor de estos días, fuimos en Uber para no llegar sudados, pero volvimos caminando, pasando antes por la heladería, tal cual lo habíamos prometido al pequeño niño. Llevamos junto a Marcelo casi 20 años visitando colegios primarios y ahora nos queda solamente acompañarlo en la secundaria a este último niño. Ellos nos enseñan todos los días a ser padres y ojalá sean personas de bien.

Because of the intense heat these past few days, we took an Uber to avoid arriving sweaty, but we walked back, stopping at the ice cream shop first, just as we had promised the little boy. Marcelo and I have been visiting primary schools for almost 20 years, and now we only have to accompany this last boy to secondary school. They teach us every day how to be parents, and we hope they grow up to be good people.

Muchas felicidades para Don Juan, ya viene una nueva etapa y nuevos retos. Con el tema de las fotos, en mi caso el mayor es quien siempre ha sido así, en cambio el pequeño se presta hasta para las payasadas.
Si si son etapas creo y luego se les pasa. En casa se niegan por un tiempo y luego aceptan
