5 Minute Freewrite: bread and butter

It took many days for Mrs. Luz Maria to get better, she should not eat bread. But she insisted that it was not bad for her. Her diet had to be balanced since diabetes was wreaking havoc in her organism. She always had the best disposition. She was a very cheerful woman and I never saw her with a sad face. She always showed her best face.

Many days passed and Mrs. Luz Maria felt like eating bread and butter. But they kept an eye on her because she wanted to go off her diet. One of the grandchildren took her to the park to exercise. Little by little she was getting better and every fifteen days she had lab tests to check her glycemia. Many months passed and Mrs. Luz Maria improved remarkably, she dreamed that when the endocrinologist discharged her she would be able to eat a toast with butter. The great day came for the endocrinologist to evaluate her, she was indeed much better and he finally authorized her to eat a piece of bread and butter. Mrs. Luz Maria was jumping for joy and at the same time shouting with happiness. It was worth the diet, now she can enjoy her bread and butter.

Pasaron muchos días para que la señora Luz Maria mejorará no debía comer pan. Pero se empeñaba que no le hacia nada mal. Su alimentación debía ser balanceada ya que la diabetes estaba haciendo estragos en su organismo. Ella siempre tenia la mejor disposición. Era una mujer muy alegre y nunca la vi con una cara triste. Siempre mostraba su mejor cara.

Pasaron muchos días y la señora Luz Maria sentía deseos de comer pan con mantequilla. Pero la tenían vigilada porque quería salirse de la dieta. Uno de los nietos la llevaba al parque hacer ejercicios. Poco a poco iba mejorando cada quince días le realizaban los exámenes de laboratorio para ir chequeando su glicemia. Pasaron muchos meses y la señora Luz Maria mejoró notablemente soñaba que cuando el endocrino le diera de alta pudiera comerse una tostada de pan con mantequilla. Llego el gran día de que el endocrino la evaluara, efectivamente estaba muchísimo mejor y por fin la autorizó para que se comiera un pan con mantequilla. La señora Luz Maria saltaba de alegría y al mismo tiempo gritaba de felicidad. Valió la pena hacer la dieta ahora puede disfrutar de su pan con mantequilla.
