Life is about taking risks and disappointments. No one says life is fair or easy or a bed of roses (roses have thorns).
The only person who can make you happy is you! So start working on that. If you are happy or at least satisfied it shows and it makes you attractive to others. Positivity attracts positivity.
Negativity drains a person and it's a hard task to expect someone to make you happy. I don't think you can ask that or expect it from someone. This isn't realistic, no one is perfect and unconditional love? Do not count on it but be realistic, go for what you can get and above all enjoy life and those who are willing to invest in you.
If you start a relationship, are in love try to focus on positive things.
Look for friends with the same interests and people you can talk with. Do not focus on one person only and load all your issues on this person's shoulder. It kills.
I hope you find what you're looking for but above all, you start liking, loving and pampering yourself first. If you can do that your life will get so much easier.
