The major function of a lamp is to provide light to it's surrounding. I have always been a fan of encouragement, never want to see people look down on themselves with dejection or give up or lost hope. I have encourage people who have no job to never give up while I was also without job. I have cheer people who lack basic social needs of life to keep believing while I don't have the basic social needs of life either. I have told the down hearted to look up for there will be light at the end of their darkness, while I am not sure what the future holds for me either.
If I am all these and I have no inspiration for myself; then I must ask God to shine His light on me. So that I don't become like a lamp that gives light but can not see it own base, or a sign post that shows direction to the master's house but never been there itself....
