Zorro rojo

Cuando me llevaron al zoológico por primera vez los niños se amontonaban para ver al León detrás de la vidriera, como yo era el mas pequeño no alcanzaba a ver nada. Entonces mi prima me indicó que podía pasar por entre la gente como ella lo había hecho. Como pude me fui acercando hasta estar justo enfrente del vidrio, para mi desilusión el León no hacia nada, parecía como si estuviera dormido. Como soy muy impaciente me sentí rápidamente aburrido y mejor me fui a ver a otro animal. Al principio me pareció que era un zorro disecado pues me miraba fijamente y yo a él, pero en pocos segundos empezó a moverse de un lado a otro. Este animal si me parecía divertido, acerqué la silla que estaba al otro lado del pasillo y me senté enfrente de la vidriera para observarlo.

Ese día me regañaron mucho por dos cosas, una por separarme del grupo y otra por mover la silla del guardia, pero creo que valió la pena.

Red fox

When they took me to the zoo for the first time, the children crowded together to see the Lion behind the window, as I was the smallest I couldn't see anything. Then my cousin indicated to me that she could pass through people as she had. As I could, I got closer until I was right in front of the glass, to my disappointment the Lion was not doing anything, it seemed as if he were asleep. As I am very impatient I quickly felt bored and better I went to see another animal. At first it seemed to me that he was a stuffed red fox because he was staring at me and I at him, but in a few seconds he began to move from one side to the other. This animal was really funny I thought, I pulled up the chair that was on the other side of the hall and sat in front of the window to observe it.

That day I was scolded a lot for two things, one for separating me from the group and another for moving the guard's chair, but I think it was worth it.
