If we can choose what and where we can work why not as you have shared @danaperez, not all are given the opportunity. I hate when people say that some guys are lucky with their work and they should be grateful and accept whatever terms that were given to them.
Yes, we are grateful but it isn't wrong to ask for more if we feel that we deserve more and there's an injustice to how we are treated.
I am working in the service industry here in the country and can say that the pay is better than an average provincial person. Some will just laugh off and downplay the work that I am doing because I am simply talking over the phone/ reading emails and checking stuff but man this consumes more than a day researching and comparing stuff and backtracking years of data.
I love change but right now opportunities are limited which forces me to stay with the current work that I have.
Affirming, @tpkidkai! To think, our salaries do not even compensate the cost of our 14-16 years of Education and here we are being slammed for merely demanding for our basic human and labor rights. shakes head
Keeping hope for the best for us all! After all, the best is yet to come. 💜
