When Pain Comes All at Once
I have learned this from life pain never comes alone.
When one problem shows up, several others are already standing behind it, as if they all decided to arrive together. One sorrow settles in the heart, and before you can breathe, another one makes it heavier.
Some days feel like only one thing is going wrong, but then you realize it’s not just one. Everything feels heavy at the same time. The mind gets tired, words start to disappear, and even silence begins to make noise.
The strangest part is that pain doesn’t ask for permission. It doesn’t care about timing or strength. It comes when a person is already weak, when energy is low, when hope is fragile. And in that moment, you truly understand how delicate a human heart can be.
But with time, another truth slowly appears. When pain comes in groups, endurance is born quietly inside you. You learn patience. You learn how to stay silent. You learn how to hold yourself together without explaining your wounds to everyone.
These days do not last forever. No matter how heavy the struggle feels, it eventually gets tired.
And the human being — a little changed, a little older inside — survives.
