In creating a work of literature, there are techniques or devices that you employ to make it more beautiful.
DEUS EX MACHINA is one of them.
Deus Ex Machina is used for crafting fiction; when I thought about it while trekking back from evening mass, it came to that this literary device; Deus Ex MAchina can be likened to a Miracle. How? you may ask ? Lets get into it.
Webster dictionary defines MIRACLE as an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.
For DEUS EX MACHINA, Wikipedia defines it as plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly or abruptly resolved by an unexpected and unlikely occurrence.
Read again and see the similarities. While DEUS EX MACHINA can be used in any form of fiction; it is mostly used in the Romance niche. This is so because romance has a little touch of illusions such that when the audience of such literature works consume the content, they feel a big relief or they feel quite dreamy.
When you see an occurrence that tallies with the definition given above in any creative work, just remember that it is DEUS EX MACHINA.
