Chapter nine of the story, Battle of the gangs.

Lena

I watched as dad and his men made their entry in a fit of bloodshed, I could see dad from where I hid. The wicked smile on his face as the innocent people were gunned down.

I had arrived here late last night and had slept at the woods. I woke up some minutes to give and took a tour round the town and was quite surprised at the amount of human activities that went on at that time of the day.
The people looked peaceful, going about their usual activities.
After the vehicles parked, Dad alighted dressed in black suit jacket accompanied by many guards all carrying arms.

I've been hiding here for the past two hours. Dad has been inside ever since he arrived. Different set of people have been moving in and out of the building, Most if them rejoicing as they came out.

I watched as most of the little gangs here went to pay homage to the mafia, The LA arrived about two hours ago and they've been indoor, preparing something big.

"Isn't that Jack's dad?" Mason asked referring to an old bald man that was accompanied by two guys.

"And that's the little daddy's puppet" I smirked referring to jack who was walking beside his dad, trying to look all tough and brave.
I wasn't surprised seeing them pay homage to the mafia. Jack's family were known for their obsession for power and fame.

Morris and his right hand man came out smiling and each of them holding a stick of cigarette in their hands. They moved around comfortably as they responded to greetings from different people. I could feel the aura of superiority around them.
My thoughts were disrupted as I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"huh" I hummed as I tur around ready to attack and was surprised to see Luke behind me looking all serious.

"Get your boys and meet us at the old cafe" he said and left quickly, leaving me confused.

After Luke left, I was able to gather the boys and together, we moved to the old cafe.
On getting there, I was quite surprised at the number of boys already there. with my eyes, I tried counting them and realized they were more than twenty.

"Hey! Listen up" Leo, luke's gang leader called out as silence dawned on the room .

"Yo, wassup?" a rough looking guy with dreads replied, taking a deep drag from his cigarette stick.

"I know we all know that the mafia is here, we all know what happens if they are disoboyed. " Leo continued with a stoic expression.
"Fifteen gangs have pledged allegiance to the mafia. we are left. What's our stand? "

That question brought great silence upon the hall. the sound of a falling spin would be clearly heard at that moment. different thoughts were running through our mind.

We were in a tight dilemma and we had to make a decision quickly.

To be continued.
