Just wanted to swing by and let you know that I read that entire @alexanova post you write and I applaud you. Fantastic perspective. Emissary indeed. And then you went even further in the comments, discussing unnecessary and hypocritical dehumanization.

You even dug deep into censorship (specifically as it applies to your daughter, and any parent raising a child vs. how it applies to political dissent).

Perhaps a single word to describe those two extremes, and everything in between, is a little too blunt a verbal instrument.

Amen, I wish I made this point clearer in my article. They are technically both forms of censorship but with such a vast degree of difference --and often intention-- between them.
