When one tenant repeatedly caused trouble and ignored warnings, the caretaker tried to settle the matter calmly. However, after several failed attempts, he had to act. Using the authority given to him by the landlord, he served the tenant a quit notice, making it clear that he was acting on the landlord’s behalf, not personal interest.
