The YouTube video I just shared is a cat being the perfect alarm clock, he basically saying to the owner wake up peasant human and feed me.

I do not, use my alarm app anymore, my cat believe that they have taken over the responsibility of being my alarm clock. They play this role very seriously.
Every morning, beginning somewhere between the times of 6:40 AM and 7 A.M., my cat will be in front of the glass though scratching it so I'll hear and open the door as though it is an emergency situation in another room. In actuality, there is nothing that even remotely resembles an emergency in another room. He is simply hungry and want breakfast but may also want attention, or perhaps he is simply bored, usually can't tell which but a little petting and feed handles all three at the same time.
I tried one time to ignore him by lying still, with my eyes closed, and pretending that I was still asleep. This tactic did not work as planned, he decided to put a paw directly on my face. On another occasion, I could not figure out how the car managed to knock over my water bottle. I think it was probably my fault, I could have moved the bottle out of the way.
On the weekends, I look forward to getting a break his early morning routine. Unfortunately, I am never granted any mercy from that fella who is annoying and cute at the same time, how he pulls it off I'll never know. Regardless of whether it is Saturday or not. Cats do not respect you rest days, they follow a daily routine, they expect to be fed and they do not hold back in taking revenge on their owners when they do not receive what they feel they are entitled to. What work are you even doing for me to have such entitlement?
Sometimes I wonder if I trained my cats to wake me up or if my cats have trained me to wake up before they wake me up. I wake up every morning before they touch me, my body has just become accustomed to recognise the time. That is a bit strange for me to admit, though. I could be off base, but it seems like my cat enjoys the power of being able to wake me up before I am ready to get out of bed. He sits there and watch me through the glass door to slowly wake up and sit up as I try to remove the sleep from my eyes and I am tired and somewhat annoyed with him, but also happy quite a bit at the same time, because I realise this has become my life, a companion and an alarm, the only thing left is he being able to speak English and I got myself a best friend that likes food. And even after he has been fed and have finally calmed down after the feeding time, he will still look for a way to get close to me and stare at me as if I am his slave and will continue to be for the rest of both our lives.
