Staring at the steel drum,
preaching words of encouragements
to this tiny hands, you are also
made of steel, i encouraged it.
Engulfed by the melody, five
hours later I still drum.
Hitting surface with energy unseen
my palms go numb as
this can clearly be seen.
I steal drum, steady running
I pick form, seems I was
called to steal drums.
