My neighbor who was a former chairman in his local government, was always fun of referring us back to the past anytime, we have a discussion.
He was so wealthy, but he could not manage the wealth, he was not even kind enough to empower others even in his immediate family when he was in office as the chairman.
So when his tenure finished, after 4 years he was so broke to the extent that he left his community to stay in our estate as our neighbor. A day came that our transformer was faulty, we were all asked to contribute so that the transformer will be fixed. But anytime we requested cash from him , he kept on telling us history, when he was the chariman. One of our neighbor angrily told him that we are talking about now and not then.
