Once upon a time, in a quiet garden, there lived a snail named Simon. Simon was a rather slow snail, even by snail standards.
While his insect friends ran and flew around, he dragged his shell lazily.
One day, Simon met a snooty hare named Lola, who always made fun of his slowness.
She boasted of her speed and said that snails were insignificant and slow creatures, Simon, though hurt by her words, did not respond.
But one day, a great storm came over the garden, and all the animals sought shelter.
Simon, with his protective shell, found a safe place to wait out the storm, meanwhile, Lola, confident in her speed, decided to brave the storm and run around the garden.
However, clumsiness led her to slip and fall into a mud puddle. She was trapped and could not move.
Simon, with his slow but steady determination, crawled over to Lola and offered help.
With patience, Simon helped Lola out of the mud and carried her back to safety.
From that day on, Lola learned to appreciate the importance of patience and to respect all living things, regardless of their speed.
The moral of this fable is that speed is not always the most important thing.
Sometimes, patience and determination can take us further.
And don't worry, if you can't run like a hare, at least you can take your house with you everywhere you go. Any other "interesting" wishes?
This is truly what I'd love to give some of the people I know 😊😊
