Last night, my husband wanted to know if we still had his Dad's binoculars. I told him his brother had them. He told me about how the guy in the boat with the girl had them and kept watching him, and he wants to watch them back. I told him how the other day the anchored so close to us that my sister had to shorten her cast, and since we were not catching anything, I did not say anything to them, but they were both on the bow of their boat staring at us, I did not notice if they had binoculars or a camera. They have been following my husband.

This morning, there was no fog or wind, it was a pleasant ride across the river. We skipped four pompano and anchored, but only caught one. As we were sitting there, a boat came too close to us, and it went across one of our lines. The guy apologized, saying he hadn't realized he was that close to us. My sister told him, no problem and he went on his way.

An hour later, my husband called me and said if I saw the guy and girl who have been fishing up there every day, and they are fishing for me to spin circles around their boat. I asked what happened, and he said the guy came right across his leads at the bottom of his lines. I told him the guy did the same to me, but acted like it was an accident.

Later my husband called and said he had caught a couple of pompano. I told my sister I did not want to go down there because I was so mad at that guy, and I would do what my husband told me to do.

I stayed at Long Point as long as I could, everyone was at Pepper Cove. It was noon and we had one fish in the boat. Off we went to Pepper Cove, I was still boiling mad at the guy for doing the same thing to my husband as he did to me.

He was anchored fishing. I headed for him. My sister looked at me as to say, are you going to turn? I went to where I thought his lines were and spun a circle, going as fast as I could safely go. Then I pulled up to him and told him when he came across my lines and apologized, we had no problem, but then you come up here and do the same to my husband, now we have a problem.

He tried to tell me he did not come close to my husband's lines or his boat. I said you want me to call him over here? He said call him. I was not going to call my husband off his anchoring, and I didn't want him to come over there. The guy says, " I didn't think so" which pissed me off more, so I had to do one more circle.

After we pulled away my sister asked if I heard what the woman said. She said, at least now we can see what you are using. It is too bad I did not hear her say that, I could have replied don’t forget the attachment.
