Con este cuerpo que duele y siente
Con este cuerpo que me alberga
He recorrido caminos y pueblos
He caminado avenidas y calles
Con este cuerpo solo o con la gente
Atravesando colinas, ríos y valles
Pensando a ratos que estás muy cerca

Con las manos de este cuerpo
He tocado otro cuerpo, y acariciado
otras manos, otro rostro, otra sombra,
en un largo camino contra el viento,
las nubes se mueven debajo del sol,
las sombras se desplazan con el tiempo,
quien para y descansa es porque ha muerto

Por mi mente pasan rostros que he amado
Por mi mente se mezclan pasado y presente;
A veces recorro espacios sin sombras
A veces me miro desde un cielo nublado
Con mi corazón recuerdo que estás ausente
Tal vez te encuentre entre las frondas
Tal vez, con mi corazón, me siente a tu lado.

With this body that shelters me
I have traveled roads and towns
I have walked avenues and streets
With this body alone or with people
Crossing hills, rivers and valleys
Thinking at times that you are very close

clouds move under the sun,
