The Talking Parrot

Once upon a time there was a little parrot called Angel. Wherever he went, he kept talking and telling stories.

Although some people liked to listen to his adventures, others found all this talking a bit annoying. One day, he flew into a forest where an old owl lived.

-Hello, I'm Angel, the parrot who never shuts up! -he said enthusiastically.

The owl, who loved the quiet of the forest, was irritated by Angel's endless chattering.

-Quiet, boy, let the others rest, -he said in his deep voice.

Angel realised that he could not burden the others with his verbosity. From then on, the chattering parrot learned to tell his stories only when he was invited to speak. And so Angel and the owl became good friends.
