The blind eagle

Once upon a time there was a majestic eagle that reigned over the skies. With its sharp talons and piercing eyesight, it was feared and respected by all the animals of the forest. But one day, in a fierce battle with a hawk, she lost the sight in one of her eyes.

Unable to hunt with the same skill, the eagle was forced to rely on weaker animals for food. Gradually, its other eye lost its sight until it was completely blind.

Defeated and hungry, it surrendered to the idea of perishing. It was then that a small squirrel approached her and began to guide her through the forest in search of food, becoming her eyes.

The eagle, who once boasted of his proud vision, realised that true strength lies not in the eyes, but in the humility to accept the help of others. From that day on, he reigned with wisdom thanks to the squirrel who taught him that no being lives alone.
