I planted this cashew plant last year July. I was frequently watering it and making sure that it gains good branches and leaves. I was always protecting it from heavy wind, animal and plant destruction. Watching it grow was tiring. Building fences to protect it day in and day out.
Loot at this plant today, having healthy branches and leaves. Looking taller than the one who planted it. Having strong roots, stem and leaves. It can't be easily destroyed by animals wind and humans. It is very strong by itself without supports.
And I am very optimistic that by the end of this year, it will start bearing fruits which can be sold to feed me.
We have to all understand that nothing rises on its own . There must be a caretaker and support . When the cashew plant was very small it couldn't stand the pressure of the environment but see how it looks now. We rise by helping others. Why do I say this. In not less than three months this plant's fruits can be gathered and sold which can fetch money to assist me financially.
Whenever we are helping other people, let us help them wholeheartedly for we do not know what benefits they will have on our lives one day. I loved this plant from the onset and was watering it morning and afternoon wasn't easy but I did it for the love I had for it. I even took the pain to build a guard for it. We can even see that gradually I am taking the guard off it.
When we help people to grow , in the near future, our work and effort will be pregnant and will bare wonderful fruits. This plant, not only will it give me money but will also serve as a wind break, will provide shade for our house and will aid in respiration.
I am a teacher by profession and as a teacher, I find myself in this faculty. We train traits of people, characters (melancholy, sanguine, phlegmatic, introvert, extroverts e.t.c). Let us remember that though tackling with them is very challenging, protecting them is very disturbing but one day, they will appreciate our efforts in their lives, they will influence the society and nation positively. Some may even progress to higher heights more than where we are. Just us the tree I planted is now older than I am.
No matter what or who we are let us help others. We rise by helping others.
