Wrongful prosecution. This term has been used numerous times over the years. The concept attests to the fact that many in positions of power wishing for a tidy and timely resolution to a problem that can't be easily solved rush to judgement.
Without analyzing all facts and circumstances surrounding an issue, misunderstandings and persecution of innocent people can sometimes occur. It's a devastating event for the accused, family members, all involved, and society.
The ZAPFIC50 Friday challenge this week by @felt-buzz presented the opportunity to explore the prompt this week "prosecution". I share a flash fiction along those lines.
My story is below:
Wind waffled into Zorelda's study as she sat engrossed interpreting the crystalline.
Recent uprisings materialized with the final showdown revealing enraged, armed townspeople approaching her secluded cottage.
They'd found her coven.
Now, the trials would begin.
For nothing except their love of nature's herbs.
And misunderstood afterlife spiritual belief practices.

Procesamiento injusto. Este término se ha utilizado en numerosas ocasiones a lo largo de los años. El concepto da fe del hecho de que muchas personas en posiciones de poder que desean una resolución ordenada y oportuna de un problema que no se puede resolver fácilmente se precipitan a la hora de juzgar.
Sin analizar todos los hechos y circunstancias que rodean un asunto, a veces pueden producirse malentendidos y persecuciones de personas inocentes. Se trata de un acontecimiento devastador para el acusado, sus familiares, todas las personas implicadas y la sociedad.
El desafío del viernes de ZAPFIC50 de esta semana, presentado por @felt-buzz, brindó la oportunidad de explorar el tema de esta semana: «enjuiciamiento». Comparto un relato breve en esa línea.
A continuación mi historia.
La carga de Zorelda
El viento se coló en el estudio de Zorelda mientras ella estaba absorta interpretando el cristalino.
Los recientes levantamientos se materializaron con el enfrentamiento final, revelando a los enfurecidos y armados habitantes del pueblo acercándose a su apartada cabaña.
Habían encontrado su aquelarre.
Ahora comenzarían los juicios.
Por nada más que su amor por las hierbas de la naturaleza.
Y por sus prácticas espirituales malinterpretadas sobre la vida después de la muerte.
