Hooray! The return of ZaFicMonday. I love participating in this challenge. It tests my ability at preciseness and purposefulness when creating a flash fiction story. This week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge centers around the prompt "return" and presented the opportunity to explore the possibility of choice when confronted with the decision to proceed or step back if the situation is not favorable to your goals.

My story is below:
Nicolette peers from the curtain, then exits. Her hips move in tandem for maximal effect.
She looks left, right, then pauses.
A hushed tone, then they egg her on.
She retreats. Timing isn't right.
It's Fashion Week. The Dior rep must be here.
