Aptly and truly stated @lanzjoseg. As a teen, I didn't understand that my parents were only looking out for my best interest when they were imparting advice. And the majority of the time, when no you have no one else to turn to, they will be there to assist if it's in their ability to do so.

I appreciate your visit and lovely words on behalf of parents. It would be an amazing feat if young people could have a look just for a moment at the other side of their life to get a glimpse of the role parents filled that they didn't want to listen.
