Oh man I remember adventuring through storm-water drains... it's a lot of fun until it isn't. They can fill up super quick. My cat used to hang out in them and I remember one day having to rescue him from drowning there.

Yay! I'm so glad you shared that...sorry about your kitty but glad you were able to rescue him. Yes, they do fill up super fast! It was pretty scary for a while...we got out just in time. There was a whole tunnel system underground.
I like the way freewrites tend to bring these repressed memories back up, too. Now I understand why so many people like to do them.
