Hmmm...

Today, I went to a friend's shop to borrow his sewing machine which I used to sew a dress for myself.
In the process of sewing and all, we got into a conversation about life after school/youth service and work generally.

He started telling me that if he got a chance to work and earn a salary, he'd take it as long as the pay is good.
He said having a skill is important, having a job that pays you a salary monthly is an added bonus.
He further explained that with the way things are going, one will have to learn how to balance work and one's skill because both are important to keep body and soul together until one is firmly rooted as a big boss of his own.

I just kept listening while making my beautiful bubu dress.
Ever since I finished school, I had not thought of working for someone directly or having an office job but I'm beginning to see sense in this concept of my friend's.

What do you think?
