The physical follows the mental

Good night everyone. Today's more a reflective post than an anecdote of my daily life.
2 weeks ago, I fell sick with a virus with strong symptoms: Fatigue, Fever, Headaches, Pressure in my temple, throat pain, and a stuffed nose. But the worst of all was that I lost my appetite.
I know many people lose their appetite when they get the flu or fever, but that was never my case until I caught that sickness. I'm now in a stage of bulking and wanting to eat is the most important thing (Apart from exercising) that I can have in my arsenal If I want to get bigger.
However, no matter how much I tried, I couldn't summon enough hunger to eat like I was accustomed to. This led to losing some gains and added to not being able to exercise for obvious reasons, It was a tough week for me, being accustomed to working 7 days a week, either by weight lifting or running.
You would think that not exercising for a week would feel like a walk in the park. Not for me. I felt in a bad mood, with low energy and without my frequent thirst for pursuing projects.
I feel much better right now and I'm working out and running like I was before. However, now I know that there are things that go much deeper than working out, things that I should take care of.
That being said, Thank you guys for reading and I wish you the best in your journey to discovering what haunts you, your deficiencies, and how you can improve to become your better self
Thank you for your support and good luck!
