In the hallway, however, the full-length mirror returned an unexpected reflection.
Suddenly, his own reflected self pointed the gun at him.
Paralysed with confusion, he barely had time to react before his double pulled the trigger.
The mirror had fired first.
He lay on the floor, bleeding to death, while his spectral attacker glared icily back at him from the glass.
