I count it as blessings when my niece always look forward to come to my house. She literally views our house like a toy house, even better than toy store, because she also gets to play with her two cousins. She used to come here often when I helped to take care of her halfday if my brother needed to work longer hours but due to pandemic, she couldn't come for very long time.
.
Two days ago, she finally had the golden opportunity to pay a visit to her most precious 'toy store' in town — my house...ahem. According to my brother and sister-in-law, she was so excited to come that she could not sleep the night before, kept reminding my brother to remind me that I should pick her from daycare.
My two boys were equally as excited, kept looking at the clock to wait for the time she ended her daycare. The cousins really missed one another. My sons treat her as their own sister. How lovely...❤️
Wefie with my niece
She was so happy to see me at the entrance of her daycare's gate - waving waving happily and forgot to say goodbye to teacher. On the way, she told me she had packed clothes so that she could bathe at my place so that she was clean and could play many many hours with her cousins. She also packed her funkopop toys and made two cards for her cousins. She is such a sweetie.
Upon reaching my house, she quickly went to bathe and then the fun began. I told her she could explored the house after she asked permission. You could tell from her face, "Which toys should I play first?" From one shelf to the next. Drawers to drawers, basketballs, toss rings, figurines. Then, she also had permission to explore the boys' double decker. She fell in love with soooooo many of their soft toys. Yes, my sons love soft toys and plushies stuff.
Good times always passed so fast and it was time for her to go back. She was a bit sad because she missed us very much so she approached me and asked "May I take one toy back home as souvenir?" I told her to ask my sons. Three of them went back to double decker room and discussed.
She chose this!
She was eyeing on either a goat or a leopard from TY plushies. Finally she chose the leapord, which was my second son's belonging. He willingly gave to her as her early Christmas gift. It was brand new with tag still on. How kind is my son too.
See, she loves the leopard.
My brother took photo to show me. She said she wants to come every week. Haha.
I do think my house does look like a mini toy store but we do not sell toys but we give toys. Yearly, my boys and I will sort out the shelves and drawer to throw away faulty toys and put good toys (which the boys no longer play) in a box to donate to the orphanage. The boys said they feel happy to give many toys to their friends at orphanage. They have never been to one, and I told them soon we will visit one day.

Your family is beautiful, congratulations. As tiring as a day like this is with the children, all their joy makes everything lighter.
