After weeks of hard work, the team submitted their proposal to the client hoping to clinch the deal. There were may sleepless night where the team come together and push through designs, mock ups and various concepts. This is the first time, where the team displayed such immense teamwork, giving their all and setting aside all their previous differences because they were so determined to land the contract to prove that they are not a bunch of headless individuals that will never achieve something good.

However, when team leader came back with a sulky face, the rest of the team knew again they have failed to clinch the deal. Tears were creeping out from the edge of the eyes of many of them as they really put in blood, sweat and tears into this project.

Then their CEO walked in with an expressionless face with a stack of envelopes. The team got worried as this could be a retrenchment letter for them for failing to clinch the deal.

Suddenly their CEO started talking, "I am not here to deliver news about sacking you guys but instead I am here for injection of joy. Congratulations for the good work, I have witnessed the dedication you guys displayed in the past weeks. This letter is not a retrenchment letter but instead is a performance bonus letter."

"Sorry for collaborating with your team leader and pulling a prank on you guys. We have clinched the deal! Good job everyone!"
