Traveling is a dream we all have as we grow up, we want to explore, visit and know places, live adventures that give us a different experience than the one we have at home with our parents.

As we grow up the desire to travel remains, but we begin to be aware that traveling involves expenses and depending on where you want to go, for some the trip of their dreams becomes almost impossible.

How many people once they reach adulthood, after having raised a family can say, I fulfilled the desire to travel to the place I always dreamed of, it is possible that many can say this, however, the vast majority is forced to give up the dream of traveling and visit places due to multiple factors, ranging from the economy, physical impediment, war conflicts and others.

One of the dreams of some people, in me I would not classify it as a dream, but as a curiosity, I would like to know what it feels like to travel on a cruise, to experience a long time embarked crossing continents on a scheduled vacation, on a journey that takes me to know some countries.

The boat trip must be a great experience, but what about the experience of today's emigrants, in the case of Venezuelans who have traveled throughout our American continent, to reach European countries in a voyage that will tell volumes of books and novels.

It is possible that the dream of most of them was to travel to some countries legally, it is possible that many had the dream of traveling in boats and ended up traveling across our continent on foot in an epic journey trying to survive and find a better future in countries that in most cases are not happy to receive them.

Many of them were forced to change the dream of traveling on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, for dangerous treks in the jungles and trails of our America.

Let me know what you think!

You make a good point. The dream of traveling by boat to a new world is often out of reach - or, it turns to a nightmare (we hear of so many immigrants drowning in unsound boats).
A better future - for those who manage to arrive safely!

Hello friend, thank you for your comment. That's right, often that remains only a dream or a repressed desire that most of us can't achieve.
