In my country there is a saying, "Appearances are deceiving" and there are many people around the world who live on appearances, we could say that this type of people are a facade, appearing many times things they are not or showing off what they do not have.

Generally this type of people live a reality different from the one they show in public, and many of them do it trying to maintain a status they do not have and constantly strive to pretend a life different from the sad reality that surrounds them.

Logically this type of behavior is very sad, and is the evidence of much insecurity in people, since they do not accept themselves as they are, they are not happy with what they are, or what they have and instead of fighting and working to change their reality, they choose to create a "facade" thus hiding what they are and how they live.

Now, the sad reality is not what they try to hide, the saddest part of all this is not having the courage to face any situation, to be brave and apply everything necessary to change their situation.

Many people live unhappy lives trying to show a different reality than the one they live, instead of being happy and grateful with what the Lord is allowing them to have and live, being content with their family, their job, friends and relatives and fully enjoying God's gift to their life.

If most people were aware of the gift that life means, having health and a family would not waste their time trying to impress other people or hide the reality around them because they feel inferior to others, this is a sad reality that many people live today, which they must strive to change.

I think there must be a change of mentality, since this attitude denotes not being grateful for the goodness of our Lord, there are people who should begin to be grateful for what they have instead of trying to show what they are.
