Dream Trial

Tired of having its powers questioned, god finally came down to earth and materialized the kind justice we had only read in folktales and sacred books.

He really knew their every act and thought. Why he did not do anything before will remain a mystery (most likely the relativity of time will be offered as the most logical explanation: 20 years for us is just 20 seconds for god; Gardel was right in that famous tango).

No one escaped. Every single responsible of the crimes committed in the last two decades was put on trial and received a punishment proportional to their crimes. From the president to the street leaders, every minister or ex-minister (regardless of where they were hiding), every congressperson, governor or mayor, was reached my the omnipresent gavel of god.

Those who suffered under the tyranny were comforted and rewarded in ways also proportional to their sufferings or tribulations.

God was about to also pass judgement on those who questioned his powers when my wife woke me up. I had never had such mixed feelings about being awaken from a good dream.
