Why Moringa

Plants are living things that serves a particular purpose. They are food for both man and animals.

They do not serve as only food crop but medicinal purpose.

This article will focus on the benefits of Moringa plant as a whole.

It is a blessing plant that got it seeds and leaves highly medicinal.

The leaves can be used to cure diabetes wheareas the fruit can be crushed in order to have a nice skin composition.

It tends to kill bacteria that resides on the skin surface. Thereby making your skin look smooth.

I have written an article on Moringa plant previously but am going to make this a revised edition of the plant.

What is Moringa plant?
Moringa is a plant known for it's herbal benefits. It got leaves and seeds

As matter of fact, each time I wake up daily with my family , we get to drink Moringa tea.

The Moringa tea can be gotten just from washing the leaves of the Moringa plant, boiling them, you also get to mix them with milk to take your morning tea.

As an adult, if you don't take Moringa, you begin to feel weak. It gives you daily strength you need for routine activities.

I have used this plant for a very long time due it's medical benefit which I will list in this article.

Features of the Moringa plant
The following are discoverable features of the Moringa plant.

Stem
The stem of the Moringa plant will supply nutrients to all the parts of the plants including it leaves.

Leaves
The leaves of the Moringa plant are oval and green in shape and size. It has high nutritional benefit.

Fruits
The fruit of Moringa plant usually have seeds in it. The seeds has health benefits as well. The pictures seen below is the seeds of the dried fruit. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of the fruit because as at the time of making this post, it wasn't the season for Moringa fruits.

The following are the health benefits of Moringa plant.

The leaves of Moringa plant are source of vitamins to the body.

I can't cite this because it is a testimony for me. Anytime take moringa tea. I can stay for long without treatment of illness.

That was where I drew the conclusion that they contains high amount of vitamins.

Vitamins are essential for the body immunity because they help to provide antibodies that helps the body fight against diseases. This is a more reason Moringa leaves are recommended for your health even if you are not sick.

Moringa leaves can also be used to cure or reduce high sugar level in the body. It eliminate the presence of sugar in our blood level. Excess of sugar causes diabetes but Moringa will help you lower your sugar level in the blood.

The seeds of the Moringa fruit can be used to cure skin diseases such as rashes. I use to have some skin irritation disease on my face but with this seeds it's all gone.

Conclusively

Moringa plant has plenty health benefits which were not listed in this article. One of which it can be used to cure diabetes.

It is recommended to include the leaves as cook in your meal as well. It helps to keep the body balanced.

This is a very interesting post. I had not come across Moringa oleifera before. Your post has lead me to do a little more digging, and this is a summary of what I have learned, since you posted.

M. oleifera ... may inhibit the anti-hyperglycemic effect of Sitagliptin.ᵇ
I used to be on a medication called Vildagliptin, which, at a dose of 50mg once daily, is apparently comparable in effect to taking Sitagliptin once daily at 25mg. These two medications are both Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.
